From my experiences, OCD in the media has been portrayed as being a quirky personality trait.
I have been using my free time to watch tv; it relaxes me. I stumbled upon the series called, "Girls" , written by and acted in by the talented Lena Dunham (Hannah in the show).
Throughout the second season, there is a chronical of Hannah and acute episodes of her OCD, which had waxed and waned throughout her life. Her OCD focuses on numbers and somatic issues, but her lived experience with OCD is revealing.
It's almost as if she's not acting.
